Sponsored by the Sandpoint Lion’s Club. Any Veteran’s who want to participate are welcome to join in the parade. Be at start of parade at 1000 hrs to lead and hand out mini American Flags along the route.

After the parade join in on the 5TH Annual “Larry Kirk Memorial” Ruck march & swim. Participants must sign a waiver to participate. The goal is to hike from Round Lake Campground area to the backside of the lake, toss rucksack(backpack) into the lake then swim back over to the campground. Open to anyone willing and able! Round Lake State Park is located at 1958 Dufort Rd. Meet at 1300 hrs for initial safety brief.

After all the hard days work of celebrating our freedom, come over next door from Round Lake to VFW Post 2453’s Post Commander’s home and enjoy BBQ ribs, hot dogs, hamburgers and all the fixins!
